sure wasn't quite as hot as yesterday
but the fish were some what cooperative ....and I thunk ....

they was certainly on it when I first got there sir
right off starting hookin good fish
same pattern and same colors produced
same presentation as well

and yes this one had a heck of a nose bleed from the deep hookin

pink 1/16 oz heads with monkey milk and or natural shad
I used the slab stinger on both those colors
and the Mr fry in just the natural shad color
all the baits used today came from Thermocline

and let me tell ya this as well ....some small fish got in on the MR FRY action as well
had a little bitty crappie and a greenie try to swallow that BIG ole bait

now mind ya the hog fest seems to be winding down a bit
average fish size was down a bit from yesterday for sure
but as yawl know I am an equal opportunity crappie spanker

sure has been a couple of great days down under the ole Trinity river bridge
makes for a pretty sweet lunch break for sure ...

Sure are some pretty fish swimming around in city limit waters

I'm sure y'all have a very relaxed work atmosphere with being able to snatch into a few during y'alls lunch breaks..... Very nice pics!

and then today ....pooof they are gone
just like that is the trinity river
got 2 pecks in 20 minutes and set the hook on one fish
and it was the first and only sand bass i ever seen in the river in 3 years
go figure .....
oh well ...maybe next week ....
done on the river ketchn till wed or so next week ...
the good news ....other adventures are on the way
