Started around 830 slick water and cool temps. Two boats sitting on my first 2 spots. No big deal there are 50 spots near by. Bite was slow at first as the sun got higher the fishing got better. I did pretty good on a white hand tied jig but in the end the chartreuse head and chartreuse Bobby Garland was the winner.
I tried many different colors to see what worked best.
Good day lot of good quality fish. Weather was perfect. Called it @ 4pm left them biting.
I know someone will say this post is worthless without pics. I don't keep em unless I know we are having a fish fry.
Prob between 30-40.
I did give one, I sniped out of a tree early, to the boat just in front of me. They were keeping and it was super fat.
