Mine occasionally loses its brain just unlocks and drifts off. Has anybody else had that problem?

Could you have possibly bumped your remote? The few times that I have ever had this problem, it was my fault.

Be sure you know how to use the jog feature. You can really pick apart brush piles using it. I've had the spotlock for a few years. The jog really makes it shine.

Hey Troy, what brand is your bow graph? I have a Lowrance and I get a lot of noise when the TM is running. Tried the 2lb lead sheet between the transducer and TM but didn’t help. Put a ground wire between the negative posts of one of the TM and starter batteries and that didn’t help either. You having this problem?

its a helix...im using the humminbird transducer made for the trolling motor, it is already shielded.. I still get a little interference but nothing to bad.

I never had any noise with this ducer on my old MG. So these MKs must really emit some EMI. But I’ll dang sure live with it to have that spotlock and smooth steering.
