DGS-Windy day double limit!

Today I had a couple of really good jig fisherman on the boat that made my job a lot easier. 18 mph wind and some strong gust limited our spots to fish today, but they grinded it out. our best colors were black and chartuse early and when the sun came out from behind the clouds monkeyshine (monkey milk w/chartuse tail) was the best producer.
it was a very light bite today for the most part, combining that with high wind you better be on your A game. I think one of the keys today for us was using braided line to detect the light bites.

Fishing is really on fire right now, the spawn is pretty much over and fish really have the feed bag on!

I have some dates next week(25th 26th and 27th)open if you would like to get in on the action!

Good jig fisherman always make the Captains job easier! But it is never easy, regardless...another windy day...imagine that...
