A weird day of fishing on Ray Bob....

So first fish off the bat was a hog....15.25" is my biggest so far




So I was pretty excited.

I looked at his shoulder and it has a huge lump, like a tumor....I took it home and cleaned it and found this...



3rd fish of the day came out of the lake and had this...



I looked up this picture and concluded that it might be VHS - Viral hemorrhagic septicemia. But I haven't confirmed it yet.

I still can't figure out what the top was. The meat all looked fine and is in the fridge marinating.......but as I type this I think I am going to throw it out.
I know some guys don't worry about it, but I'm feeding this to my wife and three kids and would rather stay on the safe side.
