Transom troll motor to the front?

Moving my troll motor to the front of my little 2 man.
Building a little spider rig.
Anyway, can I simply loosen the head on my troll motor to turn it around or should I just use reverse?

Turn the head around

The head can be turned around on almost all models. If there is a pin thru the shaft, be careful putting the pin back in to not cut any wires. Been There.

Yep, turn it around, takes about 30 minutes...and has previously mentioned, be careful with the wires...

One thing to remember if you put the troll mtr up front on some models it will make the back end want to swing around .Mine did so I had to make a rudder to stabalize it.

Yea, I changed mine back...it uses less battery power on the rear and steers better, on my rig...
