Did I read this right on TPWD website? Can you possess 50 white bass a day on Palestine?

Twice the statewide daily bag limit.
The only exceptions to the statewide possession limits in fresh water are for striped bass from Lake Texoma and alligator gar from Falcon Reservoir.
Please note that on lakes Caddo, Kirby, Livingston, Palestine, Toledo Bend and the Sabine River below Toledo Bend where some daily bag limits are larger than the statewide daily bag, the possession limits remain twice the statewide daily bag limits listed above.
Fish stored by a person at their residence do not apply to their possession limit.

No. Your daily limit is 25 per person

Correct. Possession is how many you can have in your freezer.

It’s not how many you can have in your freezer at home. Fish stored at your residence doesn’t count.

However if you go camping at the lake. You can have 25 from the day before in you ice chest and another 25 you caught that day. If you plan on fishing a third day you need to go game and do some filleting and put them in the freezer before you catch anymore.

Possession limit is what you have in your possession at the time! Like if Little man, Clay, and me went to Palestine and caught 75 crappie! But I forgot to bring my electric knife so little man and I go back the next day after church with 75 iced down and catch 25 more! Then we clean 100 fish and finish putting them all in the cooler to head home! We had our possession limit! And were advised to clean the first days fish before we go get anymore in the future!!

Second the above. possession and daily bag limits are two different birds. If no possession limit is stated for a species then daily limit applies as possession limit.
Daily and possesion limit also applies all the way to final destination.
Freezer limit is only determined by the size of your freezer!
