Southern crappie rods

Wanting to get a new jiggin pole and came across southern crappie rods. I like my 8' pro angler. Just wanted to hear if y'all have used them and if there are any pros and cons or how they compare to pro angler rods

Never head of them...who makes, or sells them?

These look they are specially designed for spider rigging...I don’t spider rig, but there are some guys on the forum that do...not sure how they would work as a straight jigging pole. Maybe some else can offer constructive advice on them for jigging.

I have 2 of them and they are ok. for the price there are several companies that are as good or better. it would depend on the price range you want to look at. the bonehead rods are very good quality and have great back bone I have one and have been really pleased. Academy has the H2O rods are pretty good as well. B&M has Sam Heaten line that are good and about the same price range. The WM tuxedo line are good as well (white and black). There are higher end rods out there that are great if you want to spend the money.

Really like the Ozark Pro Ultra Lite (CS1002ULS) 10ft rod. Sensitive, good backbone & light. Also Ozark's releasing a Brush Buster rod in April I'm going to try.

So many choices. I have zbinehead, Sam Heaton, ACC Crappie Stix, G-Rod.

All are excellent choices but if you want the lightest most sensitive out there my 7 & 8 ft G-Rod are my go tos and always with me when giggin.

I picked up an all star panfish 7” light rod from academy for $50.. I like the composite cork handles. For $50 it’s a great bang for the buck. Plenty of action to feel the bite and enough back bone to get the fish out of structure.

Never seen these. I also have an 8ft pro-angler that I shortened non the handle for barge fishing. It's a great rod.

I went ahead and ordered a 9' southern crappie rod. The 8' pro angler is the best jiggin pole I've used so far, One of these days I'll get a g-rod just can't cough up the money for now ha

Are you easy on rods or tough on rods? Reason I ask, is I am considering g-rod purchase, specifically, that 10 foot rear seat version and 10 ft salmon version...just not sure they will stand up to my “overly tough on equipment ways”...I use boneheads currently, love them...but the ones I like seem hard to get these days. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
