Don't wait to book your room for crappiefest on March 31st. Last year I waited and everyone was booked. This year will be bigger and better with more opportunities to go home with money. This year the Norton Metals monster crappie bonus will pay out $7500.00 Go to www.crappiefest.com for more info and to sign up.

This looks like fun, so the weigh-in is in Emory at Lake Fork Tackle ??
Doesn't that get pretty crowded..?

Weigh-in is in the parking lot out front. Plenty of parking on the streets behind Lake Fork Tackle.
NOCC has partnered with CAT and will be providing volunteers to assist with parking and the weigh-in. Jay Reeve is Tournament Director and moved the weigh-in along very quickly last year. Last year a fish was weighed in every 30 seconds.

Already been two fish over 3 lbs caught at Fork this winter as reported on this Forum. The fish are only going to gain weight and grow those eggs between now and March 31. A 3 lb crappie is very possible this year.

Does anyone on here have any hotel recommendations close to where we will be fishing? It doesn't have to be the Marriot but I Iike clean places. I need to reserve my room soon and I am not very familiar with this area.

I’ve stayed at the 515 Scenic Cabins and the Burning Stump. There are quite a few places that are decent.
