3N | Tawakoni Report - 12/04/17 12:36 PM

Today was Efrem and Jason aka Foots.
Efrem booked a trip for them on Lake Tawakoni. I told the guys it would
Be a little tough, but they were up for it.

Foots was feeling down a little bit today.
But I think the good lord shined down on him because he was on fire catching Crappie. I bet he put in over 80% of the fish in the boat and five of the biggest fish.

Thanks again guys. Jason, glad I could help put a smile on your face today.

Ended the day with 50 crappie!

Fish caught on BoneHead Tackle Stump Bugs Lake Palestine Special.

If you are looking to catch some slabs...
I would love to be the guide to help put you on them.

I never knew this happened. I have fished all summer long and caught very few blacks and never knew why. I fished yesterday and caught more blacks then whites on the same locations that I've fished all summer. I'm assuming blacks suspend in the summer and move to brush in the winter? Where do the whites go?

I'm interested in hearing more of this phenomenon.

Same here, white Crappie will move to deeper water towards the dam . Next time I'm out I going to try the dam 25 to 30 foot deep. This time of year fish will be in open water on the bottom, they will use the bottom for structure. Feeding on shad. Thanks and good luck.
