Few years ago wife and I are in Baton Rouge and we go to this place cause it is supposedly best cajun in area. Sitting at table, 2 guys by us I can understand about 2-3 words of 10 cause of heavy accent. I know we are in right place.

Best dirty rice EVER. Lafayette LA I think. Good stuff.

Go-Go Gumbo in Boyd - Kind of a combination of Cajun & seafood with killer good food. Get there early as they are only open Thurs-Sunday and by 5 o'clock they usually have a 30-60 min. wait.

Bayou Jack's in Roanoke

Boo-Ray's - I prefer the one out by Eagle Mountain Lake since it's non-smoking. (unlike the one in Weatherford)

Larry's French Market in Groves, Tx. They have an all you can eat Cajun buffet that will make you hurt yourself.

Saw a restaurant in Denton called Frilly's. Menu looks good. Has anyone ever eaten there?

Frilly's has pretty good food! The boss & I have dined there quite a few times and never been disappointed. Gumbo, fried catfish, blackened catfish, grouper, all have been hits. 2 thumbs up!

Bayou Market in Lewisville. Love the Po-Boys.

BooRay's is pretty good. Both locations.

Went to Frilly's (1925 Denison St, Denton, TX) yesterday and had the fried shrimp, fried frog legs, and fried gator. It was excellent. Looking forward to another trip.

Dodies in Allen and Hoochies in Denton are both good.

Prejean's in Saint Rose, LA, right outside of New Orleans. The best I've had.

GoGo Gumbo in Boyd Texas is close to where we live so I've eaten everything on the menu. It's very good also, just not a lot of variety, but good. Go early

Definitely not Dirty Cajun in Carrollton. They have sake on the menu. What's up with that?

Love Frilly's in Denton and the po-boys at the bayou market in Lewisville are very good

Pat's Seafood in Henderson, Louisiana. You can eat on the deck and throw scraps to the gators waiting anxiously below.

Don't know what area you are in but the absolute best I've ever had is Floyd's in Sugarland.

Bayou Jack's is good too. There is one in downtown McKinney that I love. Don't leave without trying the dirty balls and swamp water.

A real cajuns back yard...eating cajun food in a restaurant never feels right.

Fish Shack in Plano for fried food. The boiling crab in dallas or tasty tails in richardson or plano for boiled seafood.
