Its time for a career change but need some ideas - 10/22/17 06:02 PM

I have been working in the furniture industry for over 22 years
From warehouse manager, distribution manager, Regional distribution manager to operations manager.

I have been working on reels for over 12 years.

Before that I was a general manager for a motorcycle dealership.

Its time for a change and not sure where to go. I prefer to get back to DFW. I miss the great bass fishing but open to all options.

I have experience in a lot of different equipment.
Fork lift, cherry picker, yard mule etc. warehouse equipment.

I ran a backhoe a long time ago.

What to do for the future?

It really depends on your financial situation...universities and the park department seem to pay fairly well for maintenance workers...plus great benefits.

Phlebotomy pays okay, too...$15 - $18/hour here in the D/FW area...but you gotta deal with people and draw their blood. However, you can get good benefits at some places.

Might look into taking welding classes at a local community college.

No, it's a spelling error. It should say IN sales, not IS sales
