I met a really good bartender this past weekend. But you would have to talk her into moving here from Athens, OH.
Her signature drink is an Old Fashioned.

Now that I can type I will properly address this. You are not thinking about this correctly Bob. The way you must approach it is this.

A. You are investing 500k to 1 million bucks of hard earned money, cash, not funny money actual cash money.

B. You would like to see this money again someday.

C. You would also like to make above market gains like 30-50 percent roi annually to even make the risk worthwhile.

Now Bob, under these conditions, and taking your French fry theory out of the equation, who exactly would you trust?????

Well you never know, maybe it is an assistant manager with lots of upside just waiting for their opportunity, this could be a great opportunity for the right person.

PLEASE consider hiring a disabled Veteran. Loyalty and honesty will keep your business triving.

Lol, I'm not retired, I'm significantly underemployed lol. Technically I will be a competitor since I own a place down the road but not really. I know some guys who could probably fit the bill. Let me think on it a day I'll send you a name or two. No finder fee needed. I work for pickles.

With all due respect WB, and you are certainly due plenty of it, he needs to hire the best person for the job, if that happens to be a disabled vet, that's great, but being a general manager of a new restaurant is often a very physical job. I'm a catering manager for a successful, busy catering company, and my job is extremely physical, routinely lifting boxes of food weighing in excess of 80 lbs, and putting away shipments that are often 100+ cases. Now, I know there are all kinds of things that classify you as a disabled vet, and not all of them are physical, but if it is, this may not be a great job for somebody with physical limitations.
