Manhattan - 03/13/24 11:03 PM

What’s great place! Dang sure ain’t anything like we have in Texas. Fun to explore. All hours of the day and night, there is something to do. Great food, great bars, great times I honestly believe that people have changed quite a bit here after covid.

PS - the people that drive here for a living may quite possibly be the greatest drivers and most sane people on this earth. You couldn’t do it day in and day out without being both of those things.

If you’ve never been, EVERY American NEEDS to visit the 9/11 Museum.

Manhattan, yes New York City, definitely interesting and cool, if, IF you can stomach the trash and noise/sirens ALL NIGHT LONG!!!

Addendum: Oh, and the rat infestation!

Manhattan just before Christmas is really cool, especially if it’s snowing!
The department store Xmas displays, Rockefeller Center ice skating, and overall Xmas vibe is amazing!

I've been to Great Bend, Wichita and Arkansas City. Nothing but dirt.

There's a hog rendering plant north of Wichita, sir! You forgot to mention it and the aroma it creates that envelops the whole region!

Manhattan, KS is in the north east part of the state. Lived there for 9.5 of my 20 years in the Army. Wind constantly blows because Oklahoma blows and Nebraska sucks.

Man that’s crazy nonsense talk. Been here a week now and staying midtown / garment district. Hotel is awesome and quiet. No sirens at all. Been all over Manhattan day/night/late night and haven’t seen a single rat. Matter of fact, there are more homeless people in FW than there are here.
