Prayers For RATZ

I just got off the phone with Brandon. He's been in the ER at Arlington Memorial since about 10:00 this morning with severe head pain (nothing new there) and chest pains, which he has been having off and on for a few weeks now, They were thinking it may be a form of infection in his arteries since a CT didn't show any blockage. However, his cardiologist has been with him this afternoon and they are admitting him and will take him to the cath lab tomorrow, inject him with some dye and see what's there. He may or may not have to have a stent implanted, which they will do right then.

His wife is in Atlanta until tomorrow afternoon, so MiMi and I will grab up the grandkids for the night, get the granddaughter to her school basketball game, get them to school tomorrow and take care of the dogs.

I have asked for prayers and good vibes so many times from this group (this started in January 2007). I know there is always lots of support here in the TFF, and not just for me and my family. My heart-felt thanks to everyone.

Nothing yet. They gave him some meds last night to ease the pain and help him rest. I'm not sure what time his procedure in the cath lab is, but I'll update ASAP.

Mrs. RATZ was able to catch a flight from Atlanta that didn't get cancelled and arrived late last night at DFW.

I’ve gotten stents twice and never had to shave my own groin, this COVID thing is making many things more difficult than it used to be I recon-
You will feel so much better with the new blood flowing through you.

His procedure is scheduled for between 10:00-11:00 a.m.

No. They will only allow one visitor to be there, and in this case that is Mrs. Ratz. I'm waiting on her for updates.

UPDATE!!

Just talked with Katie. Brandon is back in his room and the doctor said he would be by for rounds about 5:00 this afternoon, and they would send him home after that. Maybe he will explain what the procedure indicated and anything else they did at that time. I'm assuming since they are releasing him that all is well.

RATZ is home! The procedure found no blockage in his arteries, so no stents had to be inserted. The Dr does want him to watch his diet, especially high cholesterol foods. He has been on a statin for a few weeks and will continue that. I'm sure he'll chime in here later.

Great news on the no blocked arteries.

Technology has helped us cardio patients. Used to have to lay there all day after the procedure so wouldnt be a problem with the incision on the groin. Glad all went well Ratz!

Prayers for Ratz. Lord I thank you for the good news we will receive because You are the ultimate healer. Sometimes the healing is coming to be with You, You are in control. For that I am very grateful as Paul learned your grace is sufficient.

As for a G2G I'm still waiting on seeing if I'm going to Australia in a few weeks if not then I'll set up my annual tournament if we do get go then it will be sometime in March.
