I thought is seemed to get off to a good start. Some of it came across as a little cliched, but it was in no way unbearable. I'll give it a shot.

Basically the story it set up is there is a giant rancher that's getting ready to go to war with some native American reservation on one side of him, and a land developer on the other. A little bit like Sons of Anarchy with horses and cowboy hats.

Seemed to be a little Dallas JR Ewingie.

It did have a little soap opera'ish feel to it at times.

Re: Yellowstone TV series - 06/21/18 11:17 PM

I enjoyed the first episode - there are definitely some interesting characters on the show.

The branding of all the family and cowboys working on the ranch was a little ridiculous, but it is TV so I'll give em a pass on that one.

I hope so, it has a good story line if the directors will let it unfold correctly and not try to drag it out.

Re: Yellowstone TV series - 06/23/18 04:24 PM

It was ok. Unexpected action in the first show for sure. However, I have had a lot of folks complain about the audio. Yes, I know I am an old, but even good hearing people have said "Huh, what did they say".
