Sure they do, and so do elite players, so do top players in the league at any particular point in time. Takes more than that to achieve GOATness.

GOATs win. That�s what separates them from the elites and the very goods. There is a lot of basketball left to play and I don�t count Lebron out until it�s over, but it doesn�t look good.

This is his team. He traded for these guys or ran other good players out of town or left them. He picked the coach. I don�t think he planned on Brad Stevens becoming the best game planner in the league, though.

In my opinion LeBron is only 2nd. To Micheal Jordan as a player and arguably the greatest athlete to ever play the game.

LeBron is Magic Johnson 2.0, he should never be compared to Jordan as his game is more Magic style. LeBron does not take over games like Jordan did, and doesn't have the killer mentality that Jordan did. He is an amazing player and definitely top 5 all time, but he is not Jordan.

Agreed RedSkeet, LeBron misses quite a few free throws, that is what always made Jordan such a threat. He would kill you on the stripe. LeBron is great, just not as great as MJ.

I am willing to admit LeBron is top 5. I maybe would take Kobe over LJ, because Kobe had Jordan's mentality. Balls out. He was a killer. LJ does not compare to those 2 mentally. I would take all 3 over Wilt or Bill Russell. I put an asterisk by those guys as they were taller than everyone else and were on the forefront of their playing generation. Great players, no doubt, but were great because they were tall and pretty much everyone else wasn't as tall. Especially Wilt. For me, I just discount their achievements slightly because of that. When you figure MJ at 6'6", Kobe at 6'6" and LJ at 6'8" ..... the league is riddled with guys that height. But those guys have been given a gift. To MJ's credit, no-one outworked him. No-one. There will never be another MJ, and Kobe maybe was the closest we will get.

Lebron had one of the most absurd, self righteous news conferences of all time to shaft Cleveland. I'm surprised Cleveland fans were able to forgive him for "big timing" them. His career has made me like basketball less.

I just about guarantee he has some sort of attention grabbing injury in Game 4 while they are losing and about to be swept. LJ thinks people will be more understanding of his teams suckiness if he is hurt.

Kobe was a better scorer than lebron... Outside that lebron is a better overall player, he still falls short of Jordan imo but Lebron at #2 is probably the most shared opinion. Plenty of stats to back that up but i know not everyone likes going that route. The biggest negatives on lebrons game are, 2011 finals Vrs the Mavs where he disappeared in the 4th, and his poor ft shooting. Outside that he is arguably the most complete player of the last 30yrs, as far as how he cries for fouls and how he did Cleveland when he left... yeah i dislike him for that.

I�m one of the biggest Lebron haters, but come on.

1) He had Wade and Bosch, both of them a top 15 (Wade a top 10) player in the league at the time. He went there solely because he could play with those two and promised 8 championships in the most egotistical press conference of all time, in any arena (sports, politics or other). That team also had Ray Allen, one of the top 10 shooters in the last 30 years.
2) He has total say in who his team signs, but worse, who the coach is. He made Spolestra the head coach in Miami and Spolestra was basically the guy that put together game film before that. He embarrassed the coach constantly.
3) He has chosen two coaches in Cleveland, Tyron Lue being more of a patsy than Spolestra. He is probably responsible for Lue�s leave of absence this season, if we�re being honest.
4) He ran Kyrie out of town, even though Kyrie helped him win a championship in Cleveland.
5) He�s given Kevin Love Stockholm syndrome and belittled him publicly.
6) He has belittled his coaches publicly.
7) Other than Love and Korver, he traded away the rest of the talent on his team this year mid-season for scrubs.
8) He abandoned Cleveland, basically his hometown and a city that is miserable sports-wise, with a team completely built around him that lost for Miami. He came back, got swept in the finals, won one, and is widely expected to leave Cleveland again for greener pastures.

He is the best player in the world. He should have three more championships than he does. His ego gross. His attitude is gross. And he has no allegiance to anyone but himself.

I am a jordan fan but people act like he didnt have anyone else on that team?? Pipen took the team to the playoffs without Jordan and Rodman was a beast, the best rebounder, defensive player to ever play the game. Not to mention all the sharp shooters they had.
