Now if it just stay there I think everyone would be happy. Gas is still affordable, and the pumps are pumping. So much drilling now my BIL has gone to WV to do some perforating there.

If it gets higher, costs of construction, material costs of suburban expansion, cost of commutes to work go up and there's contraction.

Sounds great, but Permian crude is trading $15 off the benchmark. Not enough takeaway capacity. Still profitable for the producers, though.

Most of that sell-off came post close and in overnight trading. Buy the rumor, sell the fact. I agree it will drop some more, but most of it has already been priced in.

Shows you what I know. WTI now down $2 on profit taking pre-announcement. Funds are jumping out with program trading killing it. Down another $1 in the time it took me to type this.
