when you go through locks, sometimes they ask for the name of your boat so when I traveled down the Miss. river,I had to come up with a name for my river/duck boat....I came up with "DUMARSE" Which most of my friends thought very appropriate...
best name I've ever seen on a boat was "My Dixie Wreck".....(you may to give this one a little thought)

'GIRLFRIEND' - "I'm gonna take my 'GIRLFRIEND' out to the lake and take her out for a spin". "My 'GIRLFRIEND' has one of the smoothest rides I have ever had". When I want to go 'fishing', my 'GIRLFRIEND' doesn't complain or ignore me - she's just ready to go for it. The 'GIRLFRIEND' never has those annoying leaks that come and go. If I get divorced, I'm keeping the 'GIRLFRIEND'!!!!

A friend of mine has a Catalina 250, that's a sailboat. He's an Aggie. When he got the boat he wanted a name that was both an Aggie reference and something nautical.
I came up with Marooned

When I'm done restoring my little tri hull I'm going to name it Daisy Girl after my dog. She passed in '15 so it's a nice tribute. I figure I will take her tag off my truck keys and put it on the set for the boat.
My wife always accused me of having a Mistress, cause I'd go fishing all the time.

'Pop a Top' - Express bass boat other option was 'Toss'em Back', since that's what most bass fishermen do

I saw a small 12' Vee Bottom Jon the other day that looked rode hard and put up wet. It had "U.S.S. Turdwagon" spray painted graffiti style on the side.

My friend and I bought a 14’ v Hull jonboat in college, it was a faded avocado green, so we named it the Guac.
