Both ticky tacky calls. Receiver pushing off as well and went out of bounds...he couldn't have been first to catch the ball anyway.

Agree, And the Pats running picks and holding right and left. Still needed 47 yds of penalties on that last drive to score. They let one side play and call ticky tack on the Jags.

Not a legal hit. Gronk was coming down so the defender knew exactly where his head would be. Incidental contact, a smaller back against a large tight end does not send the TE out with a concussion.

The guy was looking at Gronkowski right until he hit him. He will probably get a fine or suspension for that one.


During the NE drive I noticed two plays where the clock should have stayed running and they stopped the clock. One pass where the receiver was immediately hit backwards going out of bounds then two plays later receiver caught the ball and was tackled inbounds then went out. They should have kept the clock running.

Looked face mask to face mask to me.... didn't lower his head.... and the major contact was shoulder to chest. Big hit for sure. But ticky tac IMO in a conference championship. Gronk got rocked earlier too. Let them play.

Romo is easier to listen to now as compared to early in season. He will get better. Already better than a lot of them. Still can be a beating at times but all in all he is listenable

Sure, sure.... I think the Jedi did that like 24 times....the Jag's lost because they didn't have a great QB. He played well, but not elite....he had a far superior Defense and it wasn't enough. Romo didn't play a down in his career with such a Defense

What makes Belichick so great is the ability to recognize talent that he can use in his coaching scheme and also to mold the scheme around the talent that's available to him. Also to shed players who are no long able to be major contributors on a SB team. He has won over a long period of time with very different combinations of talent.

No Gronik in the second half. People forget that Edelman who is a key to them went down early in the season to a ACL injury. Looking strictly at the Pats talent they don't get to the SB.

Romo is just having fun with his new gig, I guess some people just don't like other people that are enjoying themselves. There are a lot worse color announcers out there. And Romo is great at calling what a play is going to be before the snap. No need for Texans to bring down Romo, leave that for the football fans in other regions.

Heck of a game. Great halftime adjustments by Belicek. Brady led the team well. Great catches by Pats receivers during crunch time.

Jags really outplayed them, but a few mistakes cost them. Unnecessary delay of game was huge. Taking a knee with a minute left in the first half was stupid. The missed PI call on their next to last drive was really costly. They should have ran the ball on 2nd down in their last series to give them a 3rd & manageable and run some clock so Brady didn't have any time. Instead they ended up with 3rd & 19 after the sack. But overall, they're a great young team who should be able to compete for a championship for at least the next few years.
