No church. Instead, we volunteer to teach Sunday school every Sunday morning at a homeless shelter in Dallas for kids 5-12 years old.

It really is a beautiful building. It's even prettier inside. I will be up there later this week to turn the water on after this latest freeze. I will try to remember to post some pics of the sanctuary.

We are currently improving the grounds. The side with the 3 small trees was completely overrun with red tip photinia so we ripped them out and put in a rose garden. It should look really good come spring.

That is what a church should look like.

We attand East Dallas Christian Church, our 1903 sanctuary had the same conceptul floor plan, but it was a little larger. we also had a dome at the intersection of the two gables. In 1924 we had a 1200 seat sanctuary constructed.
