Take care over there PH. This stuff we have here in the NTx area is nasty! Do you know any nice Jewish ladies that could fix you some chicken soup?

Sleep it off with the help of a nice whiskey, honey, peppermint and cinnamon toddy.

That stinks. I had it this week and it only lasted about 3 days for me, maybe because I had the flu shot. Not fun at all though.

How does a hermit catch the flu? You been gettin' some side action? grin

So far, so good for me. Bit I realize it's like playing Russian Roulette. Sooner or later, that bullet will find its mark.

Get well soon. The stuff this year is bad. We had to open overflow beds this week at all our hospitals.

I had it the same time as Dawg. My symptoms are gone.

I remember about 4 years ago the strain of influenza going around was extremely virulent and was killing young people in the prime of their life. Most of the MD's were going around the hospital with masks on. I took care of a 24 year old mother who came in the hospital (walked in) and was dead 36 hours later. Just virulent stuff! We were calling it Flumonia. The national news picked up on it some but they just didn't relay the seriousness in their reporting.
