Pedal drives and weeds?

Pedal drives and weeds? - 07/06/17 07:54 PM

I'm seriously considering getting a kayak for fishing. I don't see myself liking the paddling part of it though, so I'm looking at the pedal drive boats. The small lake that I would use it on most of the time is full of weeds along the shore. How do those pedal drives do in the weeds? Is it something that I would have to pull up and remove the weeds from often or are they pretty good at being "weedless"?

Thanks!

They all do a terriable job in weeds. But you can pull the drive up and paddle.

Look at the Ninja Grass Blade at Tackle Warehouse. I've read some good reports on
them.
