Anyone ever fished Sunshine Lake?

Its small, but TPWD stocked it and its public.

Never heard of it until now. Looks like a nice little fishery. But why not go somewhere closer?

I have fished it a few times. I have caught a few 1-2 lb black bass but they were few and far between. I got skunked the last time I fished it last year. It might be better now that it filled back up.
