Anyone fishing the Brazos above lake w

Thinking of hitting hams creek paint rock area Sunday if all goes well. Will be in a yak. Anyone going or has anyone had luck? Sandies crappie striped or cats?

I have always wanted to put in at Chisholm Trail camp site and float ham creek to the Brazos If I didn't have to work I'd be there with you.

I've hammered some fish (mainly sandbass) up there during the week. On week days I was seeing a ton of boat traffic, I can imagine it gets pretty bad on the weekend.

I'm hoping Super Bowl Sunday will be a little less traffic.

Had a decent trip. Caught a few small and a couple large sand bass. Also caught a 8 lb blue cat and a 171/2 inch striper.
