Tackle swap meet!!!

Me and a few guys of dfw kayak fb page are trying to setup a fishing swap meet for sunday after xmas.. I am trying to get a place set up at buddy farm in Irving I will post tomorrow if we are able to do it there.. if your wanting to go let me know!!!

Any interest in doing it in the parking lot at Mariner Sails?

Sounds good in Irving or Mariner Sails.

I would be up for Mariner Sails if we stay in town. Our family plans are still up in the air. I have fishing and camping gear to unload. I will probably end up buying more than I sell.

I really need to do something like this lol. I have a ton of extra soft plastics and a few rods and tackle bags/ boxes etc. all taking up space in the garage that need to go!

I'm down Mariner would be cool! I have lots of stuff kayak and fishing. Keep us updated!

start a thread in this section and tkf. partner up with a good local shop as been done with mariner sails of dallas & mountain sports of arlington...

does anyone else have interest in attending this?

Been off the web for a while and just found this thread. I had heard earlier that it was a high probability for Mariner Sails.

I have a huge amount of excess treasure I need to pass along and will definitely be there. Just need to know when.

If there is anything that needs to be done to help make it happen, let me know and I'll do what I can.

If no shops want to do this I can offer a place in Arlington that my company owns. Parking lot or inside, it doesn't matter. It has a occupancy load for 425. It should be plenty big enough.

If you'll want to go this route send me a pm and we can put it together.

This is going to happen after the first of the year.
It will be at Mariner but of course it's not their sale.
They will provide the space for those who want to sell their stuff.

Who all is going to make it out? Looks like we should have a great turn out according to the event invite response on FB. We will also have a table setup to accept donations of new or lightly used fishing gear that DFWKFG will be donating to TPWD Kid Fish Program and H.O.W. I will have DFWKFG decals, Girl Scout Cookies, used rods, new tackle, and a few kayak accessories for sale/trade/and donations. I'm really looking forward to seeing y'all.

I can't thank the DFW Kayak Fishing Group and Adrian Acosta enough for this great event! We were jammed with tons of great stuff, raised $800 for the DFW Chapter of HOW...... AND saw even more generosity in donations of gear for helping get kids into fishing. Great support form local rod and tackle companies as well! My hat's off to you all.
