Heads up for fall yakkin the Yegua! - 08/23/15 07:34 PM
I'm doing a report for the Lake Somerville State park to go along with this: The Eagle's report on the status of the Lake Somerville State park & Trailway.
and while taking the tour of the park and trailway we crossed over the Yegua at Newmans bottom.
The creek looks very good, running clear green with lots of water! I am sure the fall fishing is going to be killer good! The Nails creek park boat ramp is due to open very soon and once that happens you can bet that I'll be yakkin' up the Yegua looking for bass and crappie! Based on what happened last fall this September through April will be better than ever..
