Kayak Team Trail Tournaments

Kayak Team Trail Tournaments - 08/09/15 03:42 PM

This is a team trail, only one substitution per team member for the series to qualify for AOY. Will try my best to schedule around all other tournaments in the area. Will try and get schedule soon and trying to have locations with campgrounds.

Just like last year with DFWFR, this is a series that is a way for people to get in to tournament fishing at a lot lower stress and expense. Each team tournament will be a $50.00 entry fee and will have 90% pay out for each event. Payout is as follows 60%, 30% and 10% of the entry fees, leaving 10% for team AOY.

Each person will be tracked by number of events for grand drawing at end of year for several prizes, including a Manley Rod, with the grand prize of a Jackson Kayak SuperFishal.

This series will start in September and run until April of next year, but could be cut short at any time if needed this will be up to the director. All events will be posted shortly, with a schedule and format for each event.

Teams are allowed to use the following:
Human Powered
Human powered mechanical device
Electric
Gas powered not allowed

Udates are coming, first tournament looking at September.

No sign up required, just show up, no extra fees no meetings, just come out have a good time and win something.

Working on scheduale, I have reached out to others to avoid interfering with other events. Hoping this will start in September and run till April of next year with 1 per month.

September and most of October have tornaments or I am working almost every weekend. But things look to slow down after that.

Just want to miss everyone else's events hoping to start in November.
