Cold day on the River. Monday 11/25 - 11/27/13 04:45 PM
My sister who is an outdoorswoman from Jackson, WY was in town and I wanted to take her on a Brazos river trip. I hooked up (pun intended) with Shane to make sure she would get the proper experience. When the forcast took a nosedive I knew she, being from Jackson, was the only one I knew who wouldn't think twice.
She horsed this one out of a laydown like a pro...
The cats didn't think it was to cold...
Triple...
There were several other nice blues and channels caught that I don't have pics of yet. The 36 incher above was the largest of the day.
My sister has become an avid fly fisher up in Wyoming but I was hoping to show her how we do it down home. By the end of the day she couldn't wait to send the photos to all her guide friends up north. Truth be told I can't wait to get back up there for some yellowstone cutthroats myself but at the end of the day nothing beats the Brazos in my book.
