Vent

It's dissappointing the 380 put in is still closed and even more frustrating you cannot even access the parking lot to walk in. There is still a huge log jam from the bridge south, but come on tpwd,2 years and nothing?? Sad.

I carted my kayak a half mile through the nature preserve the other day. Bad idea. getting my ascend back up the bank was almost a disaster. Luckily someone helped me out. I tried to go downthe elm fork but after about a 1/4 mile I ran out of paddle able water.

Are you fishing for crappie kdub? If so I have a spot you might want to try.

I stopped by yesterday and saw they have built new bathrooms and done some concrete work. Hopefully they will have it finished soon. Not sure if it was open yet. The gate was unlocked but it seemed like maybe the crew left it unlocked. I would be afraid of getting locked in or towed. I look forward to it opening soon.

The story I was told is that the budget was really tight 2 years ago, but they approved to repair the flood damaged park and trails. Immediately after it was repaired, it flooded again and our fine government in Austin said no more money.
