fish this sunday fly or spin rod kayak prefered

Hey im kinda new to Texas. New to fly fishing. I go out on my days off looking for buddy to angle with i have my own kayak and set ups for bait cast spin cast and fly also have cast net for free bait! Im late 20's looking for buddy who likes cars fishing and being chill let me know if you want to paddle out
