Waco Catters

Any catfishers around the Waco area on here? Need some fishing buddies. Also like to hit the coast from time to time.

I fish for them as well as pretty much any other type of fish.

I fish for cats but i thought the lake ramps were closed offf

I'm in Waco area. Ramps are closed but not forever, and there's always the Brazos. I like catfishing down south of the Hwy-7 bridge or Highbank. I used to like fishing the bottom Bosque until that golf course closed the access.

I don't guess I've ever been there...I don't fish the Brazos that often. I'm heading out at 7 or so in the morning to try my luck at Fort Parker from the Bank with Live perch, Shad and Cut carp. Tuesday is a free day if anyone wants to fish let me know.

Do any good?

Actually didn't make it. I had got off work at 7 and didn't think driving 45 miles was to good of an idea. Went and caught some perch yesterday evening so I'm headed out now. I'll post some pics.

I don't know anything about Lake Waco, never fished there, but the COE website shows all of the ramps open except one.

if you want to go sometime let me know i am alway looking for someone to go with as my wife wont let me go by my self do to my back i have problems pulling up the anchor

Ok Chemdog will do. I don't have a whole lot of free time cause of rotating shifts but let me know what days are good for you...I know you guide so it's really you're schedule to go by.
