Lake Alan Henry Working Man's Results 10/6 - 10/08/17 04:36 AM

Sorry I am so late to write the report. We had 6 fishermen show up and 1 guy had 3, 2 overs and an under. He had 6.91 lbs. All the rest of us threw our 2 fish limits back. Big one weighed over 3.5 maybe 4 lbs, but didn't get a weight on him because no one else had anything like her. All spots caught on a 130 Whoopper Plopper. I was using a different color 130 and couldn't get bit, so color DOES matter sometimes. We have one more to fish, the 3rd Friday of this month and then we are calling it quits for this year. Since no one is showing up to fish, I will probably not hold them nexet year. If we were maintaining an 8-10 or even 12 person T, I would consider holding them next year, but with only 7,7 and 6 showing up to fish, I feel it is a waste of time to hold them. Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated. Hope this helps. OH, my 2 fish for around 3 lbs were caught on a Tx rigged worm, fished in 4-12' and on a 4" senko baby bass pattern. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

As long as the lake is fishing as bad as it is I think you will have a tough time holding a tournament every Friday evening. Maybe go to one a month.

We only fish the 1rst and 3rd Friday of the month, not every Friday night, so we are half way there.
