Whites Running on Bastrop?

Hey all,
Does anyone know if the whites are running on Bastrop, or anywhere? Thanks!

Running? As in running up the river to spawn? If that's what you mean, probably a bit too late for 2016 or too early for 2017, anywhere.

Im not sure if there are whites in Bastrop? I think the only fish are LMB, crappie and cats..could be wrong? Check out austinbassfishing.com for some reports around the austin area. If you are looking for some whites/hybrids, go check out the spillway below Lake Whitney. I have seen some good fish on some forums.

You probably mean schoolers. Ain't really started yet.

Ahhh schoolies...I was out there 2.5 weeks ago and I didn't see any schooling. And I did not see any boats in the middle of the lake. Its pretty obvious when the schooling is going on, the amount of boats in the middle of the lake will give it away.

Just a heads up, there are no white bass in Bastrop.

How ever, I did catch some hybrid stripers out of there, but that was 37 years a go. They aren't in there any more though.
