Fayette 3/31/16 28 bass - 04/06/16 05:27 PM
Sorry for the late report, not a lot to talk about though.
Water temp 78
Water stained more so than normal.
Blue bird skies.
The bite I was on took place on the slopes of submerged tanks. 6 to 8 feet was best.
Throwing T/R small plastic.
Winds out of North West blowing steady, made for a tuff day.
We could not get on a steady bite in the timber, but there was a slow one. The better fish were caught in or around timber. We had a four, couple of threes and the rest were smaller slot fish. The wind kept me from fishing areas in which I like to fish this time of the year, but some times the wind will make you fish areas you haven't fished in a while and you can stumble upon some good fish. Any how, I haven't had my boat out in three months due to chasing the spawning white bass from the shoreline, but it was a fun day out for my first trip out. I'll get it dialed in with in the next few trips. Until then, let the search for better quality begin.
