01/31/2016 Stillhouse - 02/01/16 01:33 PM
6:30am-10:30am
Water temp ~53-54
Light Southwest Wind increasing to moderate
2 largemouth - Both healthy largest was 20" and 4.45lbs
16' to 18' over scattered low growing hydrilla
White Spinnerbait
After a decade of not fishing and several frustrating months of fishing Georgetown it looks like Stillhouse will be where I spend most of my time on the water. This was my third time on Stillhouse, the first two trips were just look arounds with very little fishing.
The fish today were plan B fish after plan A, jig in the bushes deep, produced nothing. These fish were much more active than I expected and I was a little late to the party.
If someone could please share what the traditional anticipated thermocline depth is on Stillhouse it would be much appreciated?
