Eagle Mountain - 01/24/16 11:17 PM

Been a tough bite past few weeks for me... I know cold, dirty, and possibly turnover aren't a good combination, but first time I zero on EM in as long as I can remember. Anybody having any luck?

I have 't been in a week or more... Gonna wet a line Monday out there though. I've thrown everything besides the kitchen sink at them past couple trips... Normally I can doing fairly decent on EM... At least catch a lot of dinks if nothing else, but getting a bite alone has been tough. Let me know how you do Sunday, I'll be taking my dad and grandpa on Monday afternoon.

Man, that stinks. Great lake but seems the bite has been off on EM now for the past few years.
It can be a tough lake to fish. Lack of structure? IDK...

Not a lack of structure. It has great habitat.they just won't bite period. I tried everything . It is frustrating.

I only boated two (2lbs or so each)... I live on the lake or darn close and it's been tough. We had a blast though and the story telling was worth it all.. Haha I plan on getting out maybe Sunday... Water looked dirty still, but did find 57 degree water way back in the lake country creek area.. I mean all the way back and the water was gin clear just past the cement dam... Few small makes back there but no luck.

Fished from 7-2 and only boated 3.. One keeper... Super tough day. All three caught in 15-20 foot water. Left the deeper bite around 10 and went shallow... Never got another bump. EM won again. Great day to be out on the water though!
