Lake Houston - 03/27/18 11:02 PM

It appears the city of Houston decided today to drop the lake level to 40 feet beginning now through hurricane season. This might make it difficult if not dangerous for those wishing to fish the west and east forks. This will likely expose a lot more hazards throughout the lake that until now have remained a couple of feet below the surface. Boaters beware and please be careful.

Well I would imagine, the homeowners wanted this. And when many can't get there boat out of the water due to the 2ft drop, or face dredging charges. They will eventually stop this practice. I give it 2 years, if no flooding happened between now and then.
