Hillebrandt bayou 2/25

Hillebrandt was good to me today. Started fishing around 10am stopped at 4pm. Water temp was 72 visability 4 to 8 inches depending on the oxbow. The morning bite was on. I fished a frog all day long. Managed 20 on the frog several missed fish including one that looked to be 5+. Best five fish went 13 pounds 2 ounces. I had a 3.10, 3.6, 3.3, 1.8 and 1.7 all caught on a frog. One fish looked to be spawned out already. The other two full of eggs still. I did see what looked to be bass fry. When I would see them I would catch a little male. All and all it was a great day and I surely enjoyed my first frog bite of 2018.
