What's a good all around feed for ponds to put in feeders?

This what I use. Not sure it was designed to grow bigger fish though.

I think it depends on what you're feeding. Catfish pellets are usually 32% protein, but bass generally require a higher protein concentration. I've used one of the Purina AquaMax 41% products for pellet trained bass, but it's rather pricey. Bluegill do fine with a 35% protein feed, but I've also used the local feed mill's cheaper 32% catfish pellets with little concern about the lost 3% protein.

Aquamax 500/600 if it's for feed trained bass or hybrid stripers. I've read that feed trained largwmouth can have liver problems on some of the cheaper foods. Largemouth and stripers grow like weeds once you get them on Aquamax largemouth.

Catfish, tilapia, and bluegill can work just fine on say Purina pond chow.

I get a pretty good price from a local purina dealer, so that's what I use.

Basically I want to just keep catfish and bream around for the kids to catch. If bass start training themselves on it, even better.

Are there mixed feeds out there that sink and float?

is this a feeder on a dock at a lake? I'd just put a cheap catfish feed in that if so. Most floating feed has some sinkers in it, but I'm not sure on that.

Tractor Supply has a very good floating fish food. Comes in 25 pound bags...and runs 36% protein.
