I think the last B.A.S.S. Open they had on Lewisville may chase them away. I understand that it was a bad time of year to fish it and the lake was struggling, but those memories take a long time to die.

Really no matter where they go turnout will be lower with the format. Might as well go to fork which makes most sense. At least some awesome weights will be caught. Makes for great tv

They are not fishing for a turnout
I'm pretty sure the vendors which are setup wish there was a better turnout..

Would Falcon draw spectators/festival goers? I sure as heck wouldn't drive 6 hours to watch guys fish or go to a weigh in. This deal is a festival, not just a tournament... cant see Falcon even being in the conversation. IMO it goes back to Fork, but we'll see!

Ray Hubbard makes senses with it's close proximity to the Metromess and BPS would make a great host but bet here is Lake Fork gets it. The chance for a big bass show down always keeps Lake Fork at the top of the list but for me personally I wish they would choose another lake. The poor lake has taken a beating.

Ray Hubbard put out some respectable sacks for PAA a few years back, but that was about 50 boats. 100+?? They would all be right on top of one another and you would need a now serving window to get in the river depending on the time of year. Hubbard fishes too small for those guys. Put em back on Texoma. It showed out in 2015 for the Elites.

Would really love to seen an elite event on texoma not under flood conditions. However I do not think they had very good fan attendance in 2016 @ texoma so they might not back there. On second thought attendance last year at rayburn was even worse, but that was probably because of the catch weigh release.

While at the fan shin dig for Texoma, some anglers were saying it was a logistical nightmare getting from the lake to Choctaw. I think there was too much road construction down by the ramp that caused them to circle back.

Hwy 91 to the spillway ramp was closed for bridge construction and some of the anglers that did not launch there to practice were not told so that caused some confusion but that was it, the trip back and forth to weigh was not that big a deal. I bet it will be fork with the catch weigh release format now...
