I could not find anything using the search feature. I know about Ragan's, just looking for other options...

Thanks, I already did that and searched. There was a guy used to advertise a house on the lake for rent here occasionally.

Deer lake cabins are off the path and very peaceful. Stayed there 3-4 times. Around the corner from the lake!

I bet you could stay in One of Rick’s RV’s for $0. I will ask if you like. might have to clean it up when you get there. nobody's been down there much all year

My wife found an out of the way place on the lake. Small guest house. Kind of a pain to get the batteries charged though.

If you stay at deer lake you should come by Friday or Saturday night. If it's the one I'm thinking about it's a 1/4 mile from our entrance. We tend to let loose, eat good food and have a good time.

I also recall seeing some places on VRBO pop up from time to time on Cypress itself but haven't seen it in a while....why don't you just go stay with JP?!?!?!

Me and my brother are staying at Camp Shiloh which for you old timers used to be Cherokee Junction right across the bridge from the State Park. They still have two cabins and 8 suites (motel rooms) available.
Their number is 903-855-1800 and you can speak with Conal and he can take care of you.
I have stayed there before and it is a pretty quiet safe place to stay.
