What kind of fish are these? I made a couple casts but no luck.

What kind of graph? I've never seen anything look like that. But, I've only used Lawrence, Humminbird, and an old Eagle.

Lowrance. I talked to a guide and he said the same thing.

I've never seen fish like that on any graphs I've ever owned.

The lake is turning over. Did you see lots of scum and stuff floating around.

I had a bunch of images that looked like that on the Texoma Dam, could not figure it out either.

Piranha

Looks like you need to clean the screen.

IDK but you need some screen cleaner bad

I don't believe those are fish that you're seeing...would be nice to see a 2D/3D split though

PVC fish attractors

I thought the same thing... Walmart makes a pretty good screen cleaner for laptops works great on graphs.

I see this a lot in 16-20ft water when lakes are turning over. If its shallow, then I would say PVC. Hard to tell with that graph tho.

It's easy to do a screen shot on your graph and then upload. Cell phone pics are notoriously bad for analyzing "what are these" questions.

I would guess that on a 2D/3D split those would be the tops of weeds or brush where the 2D just isn't picking up the "stem" of whatever it is you are traveling over.

It's in 18ft so maybe just turning over

I dunno if turnover of detritus material contains phosphorus, but sure could. And that could be the return on your meter. Reason I said pvc is because I've seen a bunch of it on Conroe. Very hard to discern. That doesn't really look like pvc concrete bases, but it's certainly not fish. Nor anything else I've seen, other than fish attractors.

Knowing the depth now, and looking at the vertical length of the returns higher in the water column, I think I may have just learned something new about turnover and signatures on electronics. cheers

Those are paramecium. I remember seeing those in my biology class. Might try a drop shot next time on 4lb. line.
