Grass Or Weed Beds

Hello! Are there grass and or weed beds in 8+ feet of water (not just shallow emergent vegetation...) in the north Texas lakes? Mainly Lewisville, Grapevine, or Hubbard?

Grapevine is devoid of grass unless there is a very recent surge of water, all about the rock and some decent wood cover in a few of the creek arms. Joe Pool has spotty grass some years, but I havent been out there this year so somebody else would have to report on that lake

None in Pool that I am aware of and I fish it weekly.
