Awesome catch!!! I believe bank fisherman keep many small bass out of that lake.. allowing them girls to grow the way they do.

thanks to all who read this--
so heres my story---
After my wife asking me to take a co-worker's son(15yrs) who joined his hs bass team and some what new to fishing. we agreed to meet sunday am and I would show him how I would start my morning (baits, rigging, and presentation for most lakes). We met @ 6am and I rig his rods and explain why we will use these baits. Load boats (the son w/me and my wife would follow w/his dad)and head to 1st spot and start fishing, as we are going done bank and as I'm xplaining my boat position and casting angle to bank I hook up w/a small bass. I unhook check line explain how he hit and then continue down bank ---- about 4 casts later I feel a couple love tap and twitch to pull away what I figured was a perch but too heavy, set hook and all I feel is dead weight slowly swimming away taking drag,he ask if I need the net and MY DUMB ARSE say no feels like I hooked a big flat head after 5+ minutes of tug of war w/10 lb test she finally comes to surface by now there enough daylight for me to tell that she is a bass and I quickly change my mind about needing the net , after a couple more runs she make her way into the net.
thanksagain,Steven
