Yes, the lake was 6 foot low and I hit a stump coming back into LFM. I was on a line I'd ran 100's of time previous. I always leave LFM and head for the green barn opposite the lake. This happened during a Take a Soldier fishing event and we were returning. We had gone out after the normal weigh in to fish till dark. The stump was visible about 3-6 inches above the water line and about as big around as a baseball bat. By the time we saw it there was no time to manuever and with 2 guys in the boat I wasn't going to try a breach turn or something silly. I dead centered it and it cracked the pad right over the center livewell drains
The boat wasn't totaled but the repair bill was north of 15k
Oh, and Brooks Rogers impaled one in that same area a few weeks earlier. But all that stuff is 5 foot deep now
