Good idea, we should just start listing the lakes that are turning over so everyone will be in the know

Lake worth had some going on in shallow less turbulent water.

My advice would be to head south and fish a deep lake, or to go to a powerplant lake

Low chance of turnover right now close to the metroplex: Squaw Creek, Whitney, Waco, Fairfield, Richland Chambers

Fished PK Sunday for Top 6. Saw lots of brown foamy water on the bluffs.

I dont think temps have dropped enough to start turnovers just yet?

My spot had 87-89 degree surface temps on Sunday.

I dont see turnover till those temps get into the 70s and with daytime temps going to be in the 90s for the next 10 days... I dont know about turnovers just yet.

But I might be wrong.

It's very location specific. Lake worth is a mostly shallow lake. Shallow lakes turn earlier. The temperature dropped for a week and a half and started a mini turnover.

I'm not 100% sure but JP looks like it is or about to. The water clarity on the main lake is terrible and it has been pretty clear this summer. Surface temps on Tuesday morning where 75-80

What are yall thoughts on the hot weather coming back? Will lakes stop turning over? Will it draw the turnover out over a longer period of time? Could there be multiple turnovers if the weather keeps going back and forth?

Off 1 spot, the whole lake doesn't turn at 1 time. The area of the lake we were fishing was putting out 18-20lb bags in.practice and deffinently turned over Saturday, the fish were sure not there for the tournament. Still wasn't on fish to win or catch 52lbs, but out area went the [censored] while turning over.

It's possible, but I would think you would need a long stretch of hot weather after the first turn over. Typically turnover only lasts a few days in a given area, depending on the size of the lake, current, layout different parts of the lake will turn over at different times.
