Perfect for frogs and pitching. Getting the bass out of heavy cover quickly.

Also good for C-rig: taking up the slack expediently.

I use one like that for throwing frogs and it is awesome. I am left handed but use a right hand reel. I cast with my left hand and start reeling with my right hand. I never have to switch over. A right hand reel is perfect for me. I tried a left hand reel and can't use it correctly. It feels weird to me.

I think most southpaws use right handed reels.

Is that line capacity right? 160 yards of 30# mono?? TW says 150 yards of 12# which sounds more accurate.

No that reel will not hold 160 yards of 30# mono.

Lews baitcasters are fantastic reels but they need to improve the spinning reels quite a bit.

Picked it up yesterday from Cabela's.

Feels really nice--just got to put some line on it and put it on a rod.
