With the milder than normal temps, the pattern is "behind" where it normally is at this time. There isn't a wide spread thermocline, so big bass are still hugging the bottom or up to 5 ft off of it. As a result, we're targeting them with 3/8 to 1/2 oz TX Rigged Worms. Some days the 10 1/2" Worms are best, others you have to down size to 7".
Big Shaky Head Worms are also an option. The flutter spoon has worked, recently, on those holding just above bottom.
17-25 ft ridges, humps & points have been best. Numbers aren't high some days, but big bites are happening when you grind it out. The first pic of an Over, is an example of this. Hope this may help and stay hydrated out there. Tap or click on images to enlarge.
