Possum kingdom accidental striper

So after the early morning topwater bite died off on possum kingdom I went to the main lake and started graphing to see if I could find some off-shore largemouth. Found a group of 8-10 bass hugging the side of a point where it dropped off from 11ft down to 18-20 ft. Thinking man, that looks an awful lot like largemouth. Picked up a 10 xd that got no bites, then a 6 inch spoon that got no bites. Finally I picked up a big ole 3/4 ounce football jig and started hopping it back them SMACK. Had a fish on just to find out it was about a 14-15 lbs striper. Oh well, had my heart racing for a little bit...
